I'm 22 today! Wow, I feel old!
The DC Infoshop has officially closed. I spent the morning and afternoon at the Infoshop's brunch to commemorate 5 1/2 years of a really important center of radical thought in the district. I have many a fond memory there and I will certainly miss the space.

So the G20 (like G8, but bigger) meetings are coming to DC to discuss Bretton Woods II, essentially remaking global capitalism, so needless to say there's a lot at stake here, especially in the wake of the bailout and foreclosures. This is going to happen Nov 15th, so that's pretty soon!
Naomi Klein has been talking a lot about the global capitalism crisis, and I've been finding her analysis super helpful in understanding what's going on and what's the significance of it all:
