At the risk of making this blog more of a music blog than a personal or crafty blog, I'm posting this song two reasons:

1. The title is amazing
2. I just started becoming a little obsessed with Des Ark's music

This guy was at the show last night. Watching him play was great. His acoustic folky music is heart-wrenching, genuine, vulnerable, and passionate in ways that most people can only dream of writing and playing. It was kind of like listening to a friend when they were really in need of catharsis. Or eavesdropping on a stranger's catharsis. Have a listen!

At the risk of making this blog too much about music, I'm including this track by Chugga Chugga. Chugga Chugga is super duper cute, tweeish folk punk. They're not together anymore, but they've got a new band called Rich Bastard Kids and they are playing tomorrow at another Uprise Counter Recruitment benefit show.
